suggestion

i have always wanted a server for pure pvp in gurubashi arena, and i found that in a server called wowtopia, i am going to explain why.
they didn't have an ordinary mall, like a city or a place with a specific name, they had created their own huge grass plateau with bridges that linked several other grass plateaus together. They had of course everything you could need, and it was a horde and alliance mall in one. you could attack eachother but the players had enough maturity to deter themselves of doing such a thing. Some times there where even horde and alliance players sitting in a group and talking to eachother in the mall, about ordinary stuff: politics, family, life, sports etc. It was wonderful. and when you had grabbed your gear and assembled your character from tip to toe, you went simply to the gurubashi portal and got teleported to gurubashi, in gurubashi you of course bashed players heads, and slaugtered them in piles and you got custom pvp tokens for each kill, which you could purchase: weapons, mounts, custom tier, certain recipes actually, ingredients that where rare etc. You could purchase that from a mini shop stone you had in your backpack. and each month they updated the tier, like a patch, and they posted the new armor and weapons on the forum for everybody to drool over. It never got boring, but since not everybody loves gurubashi arena it would be wise to have some alternatives to that, maybe custom ones. Anyway, i thought it would be nice for the server to have such a "server"

The pure pvp server would be really nice, I'm pretty sure it would attract a lot of players too...But the problem is that there will be lots of lag then

and how would the unskilled players reach that certain arena team ranking? everyone can kill people in 1 vs 1, or maybe kill someone with little life, or attack someone who has several players on him already to get a token. But there are a lot of people out there who is very noobish when it comes too arena, but i like your idea actually

yeah and i appreciate it i just wanted to know how the "rookies" would aquire those items, but now i know

the whole problem with that is that Arena teams have NEVER worked correctly...even on Scape we had to tell people NOT to join Arena teams, and that was with Burlex trying to fix it.

also, when i have raided through several servers the arena points haven't been working yes, but besides that, there is a heap of bugs i presume since on every server i have played on, you can fear people through the ground.

i like the idea but if it is a pure pvp server you could delete the mods so you got less lag and bugs.[/img]
